Heiva i Honolulu 2018

Despite the busy year for us all, it is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you all to Tahiti Nui International’s “Heiva i Honolulu 2018.” Solo competition. This year’s Solo only category will be held at the Beautiful Hawaii Convention Center Ballroom on Saturday August 18, 2018.
This year as in the past we will be awarding 1 “roundtrip airfare to Tahiti” to compete at the Ori Tahiti International competition organized and sponsored by Tumata Robinson and Manouche LeHartel who are the organizers or the even In November 2018.
This specific round-trip award will only be available to use on the dates of the Ori Tahiti International competition 2018. Specific dates and details will be announced at a later date.
WE are equally as excited to announce that we will be having a 3 days event in March 2019 with new categories such as;
Hura Tini Solo competition *new
Overall Tamarii solo *new
Mehura category (1 category only)
GROUP ‘OTE’A COMPETITION!!!!!!

The quality of Tahitian dance and music have empowered groups to greatness and we acknowledge all those that have stepped on the Heiva i Honolulu stage who share our mission to learn, appreciate, preserve and perpetuate our beautiful culture and we are committed to make sure that we provide the best venue to showcase your many talented dancers, musicians, singers, choreographers and costume designers.
